About Kyawa Construction (and a little history)
KYAWA Construction was created by Ken Earle to provide home improvement services primarily to the Frederick, MD area. Ken first obtained his Maryland Home Improvement license in 1988 with his first company, FineLine Construction. FineLine now operates as Kyawa Construction.
With a family on the horizon, Ken took a position in 1992 with NHP Management and closed FineLine Construction. In 1996, Ken entered the telecom business joining WinStar Communications. In 2001, he created Kyawa Communications branching out on his own. He spent the next 23 years providing engineering and cabling solutions to the likes of Lucent Technologies (Alcatel and then Nokia), AT&T, Verizon, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and many smaller carriers.
Fast forward to 2018. Already having a construction background, a recommendation came from a prominent Realtor to offer home inspections. After some thought, it made perfect sense. Ken took the necessary training and passed the exam with flying colors and obtained his Maryland Home Inspector’s license. During that process, he reactivated the MHIC license and obtained the necessary insurance to provide both home inspections and home improvements. KYAWA OC Services was created to service the Home Inspection sector.
